First published in the July 2018 issue of Vogue Japan, Blossoming extends the world introduced in Flamingo Kids; a circle of young elite gathered on the grounds of a private estate, on the first day of spring.
The composition is quiet but deliberate. Mader observes from a remove, allowing private moments to coexist within a shared frame: a guest absorbed in the scent of fresh tulips, others held by conversations that belong only to them, a waiter who moves along the periphery as though sound itself might disturb. All guests dressed in white, their figures light against the green of the garden. At the center of it all stands a classical sculpture of a Greek goddess; still, unbothered, and permanent against the transience of everything around her.
This work is now released in its archival form as a Limited Studio Edition.

Editorial Origin (2018)
Originally lensed for and first published in the July 2018 issue of Vogue Japan. The work received an Honorable Mention at the 2023 Color Photography Contest. It has never previously been released as a collector's edition.
